Alta. Rose is 12 years old and has been retired from racing sound after 7 years on the track. Winning $25, 000 she impressed us with her easy going nature, her uphill build for a dressage dam and long strides and distance characteristics for an eventing dam. She caught with fresh imported semen and foaled easily without intervention twice producing very good show quality fillies. We like working around her and just have too many horses so Rose is for sale for a very reasonable price since she has two warmblood approvals and will be Oldenburg inspected in July, 2003. She is by Ky Alta x Good Old Mort (also a dressage / race sire) out of To Be In Bloom x Young America. Lots of heart space - loving - green to ride but seems she would be a packer if someone had the time to ride her in a bit.
