Red is a registered Quarter Horse with excellent confirmation. Energy, good turn of speed and the looks of a 12 year old. She has been a western dude trail horse for most of her life and knows her job very well and makes an excellent wrangler horse!! Goes well as a lead horse, in a string or on her own. She had some Ensligh training at some point and remembers a lot of it if asked. She is very strong, has great stamina, is confident and sure footed in mountains. She is sensible, does not spook and takes care of her rider. Neckreins and is very sensitive to the bit. Suitable for intermediate + up rider.

A visitor to Bandera can see a sign on Main Street, in front of the fire department, which states that Bandera was founded by Roman Catholic immigrants from Poland. St. Stanislaus Catholic Church was built by those immigrants, and the church is one of the oldest in Texas. Many of the residents are descended from those original Polish immigrants. Several stories exist regarding the origin of the name "Bandera".
