Thoroughbred Gelding for Sale in Norman, OK

We have a 2 yo , dark bay Thoroughbred Gelding . He is " green ~ broke " ; by this , I mean that he has had at least 10 rides under saddle . " Jasper " is an intelligent horse , and thrives on attention . He had his Coggins test last December ; at which time the veterinarian told us that he will almost certainly grow beyond 16' hh . He is 15'1 at this time , but still has 2 more years to grow ! I waited a long time for him ~ HE IS MY ABSOLUTE DREAM HORSE , and I REALLY , REALLY DON'T WANT TO LET HIM GO ! Unfortunately , my vehicle has " blown up " , and I have NO CHOICE . If there were ANY way for me to keep him , I WOULD . Whomever is lucky enough to get him will be getting one heck of a deal ! Jasper has the potential to excel in any area that you want to take him in ; he is pretty enough for show , he LOVES to jump , he also loves to " show off " . He stands for farrier , lifts all 4 feet , and loads with no problem . He is also very easy to " catch " . Like I said , he just thrives on your attention . No buck , bite , or kick . ( of course ! ) I do , however , want to stress that he DOES need more time under the saddle ; as he is only a 2 yo , and freshly " broke " . Therefore , an intermediate rider is definitely advised . He is a mellow kind of horse ! GREAT temperament ! If you have any further questions , or , would like to come out and meet him , please call or text # ( four o 5 ) 4o3~ nine 5 three 6 . My name is T . J . , and I am happy to answer them . Thanks for reading . *** I have to say ; PICTURES DO NOT DO HIM JUSTICE !!! HE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS , IN PERSON . HE WILL MAKE AN EXCEPTIONAL RIDING PARTNER , AS WELL AS FUN TO SHOW OFF ! So , please don't judge him based on my poor camera ability ! ha ! ha ! they do not reflect how pretty he really is . $ 1600 O . B . O . ( AND HE IS WORTH SO MUCH MORE ! ) Thanks , again , for reading

About Norman, OK

The Oklahoma region became part of the United States with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Prior to the American Civil War the United States government began relocating the Five Civilized Tribes – the five Native American tribes that the United States officially recognized via treaty – to Oklahoma. Treaties of 1832 and 1833 assigned the area known today as Norman to the Creek Nation. Following the Civil War, the Creeks were accused of aiding the Confederacy and as a result they ceded the region back to the United States in 1866. In the early 1870s, the federal government undertook a survey of these unassigned lands.
