Donkey Mare for Sale in Maple Plain, MN
Sarah - dapple grey 12 yrs, standard sized jennet donkey. Very friendly
and loves people. Quiet and loves kids and lets them ride on her
back. Well behaved and current on vaccines, deworming, and trimmings.
Ties well, leads well, good for brushing, and has trailered to nativity
scenes well and loves the attention. Gets along well with horses, ponies,
donkeys, and cows. Good outside or in a stall. Wonderful mother. Had a
filly hinny this spring named Louise. Lousie is 35~tall, black with four
white socks. Adores people and very friendly. Handled daily; leads well.
Trimmed 3 times and dewormed. Used to being tied. Louise has a wonderful
floating trot. Louise has been weaned from her mother and ready for
a new loving home. We are selling both Louise and Sarah together for

About Maple Plain, MN
Maple Plain is named for the many sugar maples in its forests. Early settlement of the area began in 1854 and revolved around Lake Independence to its north, and its outflow Pioneer Creek. In 1868 and 1869, the St. Paul, Pacific and Manitoba Railroad was built through Maple Plain. By 1871, Maple Plain had a post office.
