Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Maple Plain, MN
Very athletic prospect for jumping, dressage, hunters, or trails. He
was broke a couple years ago and was ridden on and off until this past
winter. Needs to be started again by an experienced rider. He can be
girthy starting back into training so an experience rider would be best.
He rides better when he is ridden rountinely. No soundness issues. He
will need an experienced rider to start him back into work since he
is girthy and not in a routine of getting ridden. Very friendly. He
trailers well, ties well, and leads well. Good with vaccines, deworming,
and trimming. Trimmed 9 / 19 / 06 and has excellent, solid hooves. Fed
daily dewormer and current on vaccines. I am selling him because I
do not have the time to consistently work with him, which is what he
needs. Performance horse registered.
About Maple Plain, MN
Maple Plain is named for the many sugar maples in its forests. Early settlement of the area began in 1854 and revolved around Lake Independence to its north, and its outflow Pioneer Creek. In 1868 and 1869, the St. Paul, Pacific and Manitoba Railroad was built through Maple Plain. By 1871, Maple Plain had a post office.
