Appaloosa Gelding for Sale in Duluth, MN

Gavin has been one of the smartest, easiest going young horses I have had the pleasure of working with. This guy oozes potential! He’s incredibly smart, picks up on things fast and retains it! Loads, leads, ties, stands for vet and farrier. Learning fly spray and the hose. He lunges on a line and in a round pen. Has had a saddle and bridle on. Yields his hind quarters, backs, very respectful of personal space. He is the bottom in the pecking order and a no drama guy. His playful personality shines through when you are working with him and he loves people! Gavin is the type that bonds to his “person” and wants to be loved on. That is the ONLY reason he is for sale. I don’t have the time that he deserves and I’m not going to let his potential sit in the pasture wasted like my other horses. This little guy is going to be a fantastic partner for someone. Perfect for a 4H’er looking for a young prospect to take through the training levels. Or a horse for someone who wants to do it all! With his mind and confirmation, there isn’t anything this guy won’t be able to do. He’s level headed at home and in new places. Gavin is UTD on everything and ready to go. Vaccinations, current coggins, teeth floated (wolf teeth removed), feet.

About Duluth, MN

The Anishinaabe, also known as the Ojibwe or Chippewa, have inhabited the Lake Superior region for more than 500 years. They were preceded by the Dakota, Fox, Menominee, Noquet and Gros Ventre peoples [ citation needed ], whom they pushed out of the area. Already established as traders, after the arrival of Europeans, the Anishinaabe found a niche as the middlemen between the French fur traders and other Native peoples. They soon became the dominant Indian nation in the region, forcing out the Dakota Sioux and Fox and winning a victory against the Iroquois west of Sault Ste. Marie in 1662.
