She is quick out of the gate and has a tremendous first few strides. She has a thick build with plenty of power in her hindquarter and chest. Shimmer is sound and ready for work. This can be your next performance horse deluxe. She has the quickness, stride and mind to be hauled for the barrel pen. She has a great break and fast early speed. With her strength and size she could turn a steer in a flash or catch the fastest calf. Her heart and mind coupled with her athleticism and speed will make her a winner in whatever direction you want to take her. She needs an experienced/intermediate rider. She does great in a stall, no bad habits at all, no weaving or cribbing. Shimmer is also good in the pasture with the other horses. She clips, and stands for the farrier.
About Hugo, MN
Originally settled by French Canadians, Hugo early on established itself as a refueling station for the Lake Superior and Mississippi Railroad (later the Northern Pacific Railway). Located in Oneka township, the community was first named Centerville Station and finally Hugo. The present name is for Trevanion William Hugo, a mayor of Duluth. The village incorporated in 1906 and was officially incorporated as a city in 1972. After 2000, Hugo had absorbed significant suburban growth and development to become the thriving city it is today.
