Oldenburg Gelding for Sale in Orlando, FL

Red (aka Part Time Lover) is a gorgeous chestnut Oldenburg (registered in the Oldenburg Breeders Society out of sire Pablo and dam Gorgeous Breeze). Standing at 16hhs with a great disposition and three lovely gaits. Red is very outgoing and eager to please, he is a push ride trained in the hunter/jumper discipline for the last couple of years. He has proven to be an excellent jumper, always brave to the fences with plenty of scope and lift in his jumps. In addition to training hunter/jumper Red has also been trained in the basics of Dressage, showing in the Training level tests. Also has great manners, loads in trailer, will stand for farrier, vet, grooming/bathing, and clipping. Red has only been to a handful of shows, but is willing and ready to do more, he would make an excellent prospect for an amateur Adult or older child rider who would be willing to polish his training and get him out to shows. If interested please PM me for additional video/pictures or email me at ktmauck@yahoo.com

About Orlando, FL

There are very few archaeological sites in the area today, except for the former site of Fort Gatlin along the shores of modern-day Lake Gatlin south of downtown Orlando. In 1823, the Treaty of Moultrie Creek created a Seminole reservation encompassing much of central Florida, including the area which would become Orlando. The Indian Removal Act of 1830 authorized relocation of the Seminole from Florida to Oklahoma, leading to the Second Seminole War. In 1842 white settlement in the area was encouraged by the Armed Occupation Act. After Mosquito County was divided in 1845, Fort Gatlin became the county seat of the newly created Orange County in 1856.
