Extremely nice big Palomino mare:Three Bars, Leo, Oklahoma Star+King, 15. 2h. Top quality mare, has thrown several studs / stud prospects+show / futurity fillies. Easy to handle+breed, very good about her babies. She has been used in the mountains on pack trips+elk hunts extensively -9 yrs. She rides+packs very well, hobbles, stakes overnight, ties to the picket line, shoes, hauls, loads, etc. Good for older kids, ladies+big hunters. Having been in the Pecos Wilderness for 9 yrs, Starduster is an extremely good trail horse:crossing rivers, bridges, handling very rocky steep terrain, mud, snow+ice. Starduster has also been used on cattle, on ranches+feedlots, roped off of, roped wild cows on the ranches, drug calves to the fire, done some arena roping. She has had several awesome babies for me - see pictures on web site. Starduster is bred to Poco Royal Jessie. Starduster is getting a little too old now to go back to the mtns any more and she has a knot on her knee~and although I still use her lightly, she is not 100% sound.
