Paint Gelding for Sale in Cedar Lake, IN

Mocha went thru 90 days training spring 2013, he continued his training all summer long, we have not been able to ride him this winter at all because of the weather, we just started riding him and he remembers everything we taught him. Mocha can side pass, for trail, do the bridge, gate, and mailbox, we have taken him around barrels but not at top speed. Mocha is an energetic horse, he loves people and loves attention, he is always looking for his owner. He will make someone a great best friend. He is very inquisitive and fun to just hang around with, he is always doing something. He loves to be ridden and worked, he is willing to do everything asked and is a fast learner. He is a great prospect for 4-H. Mocha cross ties, bathes and stands great for the ferrier, he has not been loaded much but we had no problem loading him last year. Mocha is healthy and has no sound issues, he is UTD on shots. Because Mocha has a lot of energy and is young I believe he would best be suited for someone with some experience. http://youtu.be/2sogGzKoonc

About Cedar Lake, IN

Cedar Lake was settled by pioneers in the mid-19th century and was originally named West Point; the name “Cedar Lake” belonged to a nearby town that is now called Creston, Indiana. In 1839, the town that was then called West Point competed with the settlements of Liverpool and Lake Court House (later called Crown Point) to be the county seat of Lake County, but lost out to Liverpool. By 1870, the Cedar Lake Post Office was established, giving the area a new name. After the Monon Railroad came to the lake's western shore in 1882, many new residents flocked to the area along with tourists who saw the lake as a resort destination. From the late 19th century to the early 20th century, Cedar Lake was a popular place for Chicagoans looking for a retreat from the city.
