Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Tyler, TX

Quarter horse mare. She is 10 years old and very sound and doesn't spook. Rides through moving water and even ponds so she is not scared of water. Neck reins great. Listens to saddle and feet on when to start, stop and slow down. Does fine sorting cows and have started teaching her how to rope but not finished yet. Great with all ages from kids to adults. My husband and I pleasure ride her and I can ride with my 2 year old grandson. When work needs to be done my 20 year old can ride her with or with spurs and get cows up

About Tyler, TX

Legal recognition of Tyler was initiated by an act of the state legislature on April 11, 1846. Texas created Smith County and authorized a county seat. The first plat designated a 28-block town site centered by a main square, located within a 100-acre tract acquired by Smith County on February 6, 1847. The new town was named for President John Tyler, who advocated for annexation of Texas by the United States. A log building on the north side of the square functioned as courthouse and public meeting hall until it was displaced by a brick courthouse in 1852.
