Casper is a 12 year old OTTB (Diligent Knight) who has had experience in eventing, cross country, jumping (3 feet) dressage and Parelli horsemanship. Casper has been shown and placed well at local shows. Great on trails and will hack out alone or in a group.
Casper gets along great with other horses, stands like a gentleman for baths, clipping/grooming, vet and farrier, loads like a champ and is UTD on vacs, teeth and farrier.
Casper is a beautiful mover with a calm, generous, and loving personality and always wants to please. Best suited for someone who would like an English pleasure/equitation horse or a low level dressage horse but would also be a great Pony Club horse for an advanced beginner or above rider.
He has so much love to give, he needs a rider who will really appreciate his big heart and give him lots of love in return!
About Colchester, VT
About 2,000 years ago, during the Early Woodland period, pre-Columbian natives lived in the area. Chartered June 7, 1763, the town was named for the Earl of Colchester. Winooski Falls separated from the town of Colchester in 1922, causing Colchester to lose a large percentage of its population to the newly founded city of Winooski. As of the census of 2010, there were 17,067 people, 6,576 households, and 4,184 families residing in the town. The population density was 470 people per square mile.
