Kentucky Mountain Horse for sale - $1000 (Chilliwack) Price is negotiable. $1000 Or Best Offer Gypsy is 17 years old. She is 14h. She needs an Intermediate or Experienced Rider. She is a beautiful horse, Chocolate with a flaxen mane. She is an easy keeper, but cannot be put out on pasture very long each day as she will get very fat. Gypsy has been ridden by a beginner rider in the last few years and she has learned that "she is the boss". An Intermediate or Experienced Rider would be able to handle her no problem, but for a beginner she will be a brat and try to race off home for the barn the minute you start back. She has only been ridden on trails for the last three years. I do not know where she was ridden before that. In the last three years she has had only a bit-less bridle. With a couple of weeks of training she will likely be OK for an advanced beginner. An Intermediate or Experienced Rider can ride her now and correct her bad habits as you go. I think that if you are going to ride in an arena, that in itself may solve her issues. She would not be trying to race home from an arena.
