Large connemara pony looking for his new kid. Sadly his owner has outgrown him. Has evented through training level, Shown 2nd level dressage, Very honest to fences and never thinks twice. Has shown successfully in the hunter ring, cross rails to 2'6 and in the jumper ring on the GSDHJA circuit. Always in the ribbons, great eq horse, comfortable and smooth. Has flying changes when asked properrly. Just recently placed 2nd & 3rd out of 24 in Del Mar with an 11 yr old rider at her first show over fences & Won the gsdhja flat medal 2 weeks ago! Super easy no warm up needed. Takes care of his rider and has all the buttons for the more advanced rider. He is a pleasure to work with under saddle. Travels out for lessons at least once a week. no bite, kick, rear, bolt. Ties, loads, clips, all of the extras. Plus he Looks great with a giant Christmas bow! Pre purchase exam welcome! About Lakeside, CA
While Lakeside was first named for the presence of the small, natural lake it was founded around, it is now home to a trio of large reservoirs: Lake Jennings, El Capitan Reservoir and San Vicente Reservoir. All three are kept stocked by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife with various types of fish ranging from largemouth bass to catfish and rainbow trout, and are popular fishing destinations for local and county residents. The latter two are also open to recreational water activities such as wakeboarding and jetskiing; however, San Vicente is currently closed to the public until at least 2014. There are a number of parks with outdoor trails for hiking, biking and equestrian riding, most notably the River Park situated along the bank and riverbed of the San Diego River, the park surrounding Lindo Lake and Stelzer and El Monte County Parks. Also located in Lakeside is the trailhead for the climb to the summit of El Cajon Mountain, nicknamed locally as "El Capitan" for its resemblance to the famous Yosemite cliff, which dominates the view of the mountains northeast of Lakeside.
