FOR SALE: Imported 2000 Oldenburg mare Donnacina (Donnerhall/World Cup I) broodmare in foal.to Romancero H (LFG) for 2015. She is 17.1hh, chestnut. She takes with both fresh and frozen (this breeding was frozen semen), very good mom. She's a big girl and needs lots of groceries, does best in pasture situation, tends to be more towards the top of the herd but not aggressive to other horses. Currently lives in a pasture environment 24/7 with 6 other broodies, no problem. Loves people, no known vices. She is UTD on everything, gets her feet done (she's barefoot) every 6 weeks, loads in the trailer easily and not a difficult mare to breed. She was a competitive dressage horse until a farrier accident changed her career. She is pasture sound. Champion non-Hanoverian mare at her mare inspection. Breeding approved AHS and GOV.
Donnacina is full sister to the Oldenburg Stallion Don Grecho.

About Willis, TX
Before the founding of Willis, most residents in the area lived in a settlement known as Danville, formed four miles west of present-day New Waverly in the 1830s. A few Danville residents in the 1850s settled south of Danville in what is now Willis. Several of these early Danville residents were large slave plantation owners. About 600 of the estimated 1,000 early Danville residents in the 1850s were slaves. After the Civil War, many recently freed slaves lived in the Willis area, establishing Thomas Chapel United Methodist Church in 1867, the oldest church in Willis.
