In the school: he has 3 even balanced paces. He Is very much a kick along but will do as you ask, ideal for an unbalanced rider or nervous rider. He has been ridden here by a 9 yr old girl would is learning to canter. He is far more push on than pull back.
Hacking, Little john loves to hack, and can be hacked alone or in company, he will go first or last, does not seem bothered by cars or heavy machinery. Hacks passed the school with all the children playing and screaming and also down the busy b road towards town.
Open spaces: He is a gentleman, always in a snaffle, can be ridden with groups and does not get excited, will happily canter around our fields and can be pulled up at any time. Not strong in any way. Will go first or last or happily be on his own or have loose horses galloping the other side the hedge. He just goes with the flow.
Handling, Little John is good to lead, catch and handle, turned out in 15 acres and has been out with mares and geldings, good to tack up, wash off etc. no stable vices.
