Pintabian Mare for Sale in Moneta, VA

Spring Valley Farm presents "Moon" for your consideration: - 10yo Arabian-x Sporthorse, standing a 1/2" over 15h. Built is very substantial, good bone. - Excellent health. Easy keeper. Fantastic ground manners. - Wonderful feet. Hard, sound hooves. Has two half-blue eyes. Double Variegated Blue/Brown Eyes! Not that this particularly influences her price, but geez.. she is one pretty horse! This mare has spent most of her life as a trail horse but geez, she is simply too sophisticated to spend her days as a string horse. She has a good amount of spirit but the kind of rider that would appreciate her skill would certainly be able to handle her. Moon has been started over a variety of jumps - crossrails in the arena and obstacles on the trail - and she shows abundant potential in that field. She is a smart, quick study. She has been taught to neck rein or will straight rein. Moon will move off leg pressure and respond to seat as well. Riding this mare is like driving an expensive vehicle - WHAT a thrill! Shows desire to jump without rushing fences. No refusals, nicely tucks her legs! Nice changes and consistent circles. She is somewhat out of shape right now but with schooling she will only continue to improve. Obviously, all the basics. Will lead/load/tie/bathe, stands in crossties, etc., crosses water and roads. Gets along great with other horses. Recently trailered out to Carvin's Cove and did an 8mi ride with no issues. This mare is currently in work and will continue to be schooled. Price will increase with training! Buy her now before you see her at next year's shows and wish you had! Pay in Full Cash Price OBO Payments - $2000 - open to trade offers Located in Moneta, VA.
