Excellent loper, slow and pretty. A very personable horse that is very
easy to get along with and not spoiled. Has a good attitude and is
willing to learn. Ground ties, will stand for saddling in the arena with
no halter. Ridden in d - ring snaffle and has a good mouth and low head.
This gelding is getting a later start on his training so is offered at
a low price. Knows all of the basics and is ready to advance. He will
make a suitable horse for show or work. Incentive fund enrolled. Sire
has 114 performance points and 17. 5 halter points with AQHA. Sire has
been a World Show qualifier in SR Reining and has points in pleasure,
western riding, heading, heeling, and calf roping. No conformation

About Greenup, KY
Greenup was laid out in 1803 and 1804 by Robert Johnson, a pioneer and legislator who owned the land. Upon the formation of Greenup County (named for the former congressman Christopher Greenup, who later served as governor) out of land separated from Mason County, Johnson's settlement was chosen to be the seat of government and adopted the name "Greenupsburg". Its post office was erected on July 1, 1811. The state assembly formally established the town on February 4, 1818, and incorporated the city thirty years later on February 29, 1848. The name was shortened to "Greenup" on March 13, 1872, partially to avoid confusion with Greensburg.
