Missouri Fox Trotter Stallion for Sale in Minden, LA
Duke is a terrific, all around, 7 yr. old gelding with papers. His slow
gaited foxtrot is wonderful! He's kid gentle and perfect for inexperienced
children or first time equine owners. He has no kick, buck, bite, rear
or run away in him. He rides the streets and highways with no problems.
He's simple to catch, groom, saddle and bridle. He'll stand still for
mounting and dismounting. Duke has recently been shod & stands strong,
proud and healthy with current coggins. His endurance mountain training
has made him surefooted and a great trail horse! He's eager to please
you and doesn't tire easily. Duke is quite flashy with a white face and

About Minden, LA
Minden was established in 1836 by Charles Veeder. Native sons include Gene Austin and Sweet Lou Dunbar. During the Civil War, a large Confederate encampment was located just east of Minden. It housed about 15,000 Confederate soldiers. The town served as a supply depot for the Confederate Army.
