Appaloosa Gelding for Sale in WARROAD, MN
15 Yr old gelding had been a game horse but he doesn't like it anymore. Joe is now a wonderful trail horse. No buck no bite not spooky. He crosses water goes out alone or with a crowd good manners! Only reason for selling ....no one rides him! He is bossy in the pasture... serious in quires only and a good home a must! Vet checks welcome!

About WARROAD, MN
Warroad was once one of the largest Chippewa villages on Lake of the Woods. The Chippewa fought a long and fierce war against the Sioux for the lake's rice fields. Occupying the prairies of the Red River Valley, the Sioux would frequently invade the territory by way of the Red and Roseau Rivers, a route which ended at the mouth of the Warroad River. This was the old "war road" from which the river and village derived their name. [ citation needed ] In the 20th century, the town had a strong commercial fishing industry, which gradually turned to sport fishing and tourism.
