Huggie is a great 3 year old POA gelding. He is started under saddle.
Walk, trot, lope, gives to the bit. He stops and backs nicely. He has
been ponied and ridden on many trail rides. Does great over steep, rocky
terrain, he is very sure - footed. He has also been ridden bareback. Has
been around cattle. No buck, no rear, he is a pretty laid back guy. Great
ground manners, loads in the trailer, good with his feet. He lunges and

Philomath was named after the Philomath College that was founded in 1867 by the United Brethren Church. The name of the college and city was derived from two Greek words meaning "lover of learning". The city was incorporated on October 20, 1882. The college closed in 1929 due to a dramatic decline in enrollment.
