Hanoverian Mare for Sale in Poultney, VT

Gorgeous type, excellent movement - long strides with lots of suspension. USDF Champion filly. Wystful is well started under saddle, loads and trailers well, she has a great work ethic. Sweet, sensitive, and very kind. She has been bred to top Hanoverian stallion Davignport (sucessful FEI Dressage competitor) for 6 / 05 foal. ~Dam Inka XVIII, an imported trakhener was champion non - hanoverian mare at her AHS inspection. She has produced an FEI dressage horse, show ring hunter, and a Grand Champion Mare at Dressage at Devon. Five of Inka~s six inspected foals were rated first premium, one being in the top 10 KWPN / NA US foals in 1990. ~Sire Wallstreet Kid was reserve champion of his 100 day performance test and champion of his licencing. He has produced many champions in breed shows and his sons and daughters are just starting to show their promise in the hunter and dressage disciplines.

About Poultney, VT

One of the New Hampshire Grants, Poultney was charted on September 21, 1761, by Benning Wentworth, Royal Governor of New Hampshire, and named for William Pulteney, 1st Earl of Bath, a British politician and orator. Poultney was first settled by Thomas Ashley and Ebenezer Allen. Ashley married Zeruiah Richards, and Allen married Lydia Richards, both daughters of Zebulon Richards of Windham County, Connecticut. Ashley and Allen established themselves in a cabin near the Poultney River on February 15, 1771. Allen brought his family with him, and a son born to his wife Lydia in 1772 was the first white child born in Poultney.
