Pony of the Americas Mare for Sale in Oologah, OK

Here is a filly that will make you money some day, in the show ring or rodeo arena. She has the best disposition that I have ever seen. She has shown in weanling filly classes and has done great. She isn't scared of going to town, she will square up and stands like a big girl, and learns very quickly. I can't say enough about her mom, she is a very accomplished barrel, poles, and flag horse. This mare will do whatever you ask her to do and she has definitely rubbed off on this baby. This filly is built just like one should be. She is great with kids, so she could be an excellent 4- H or FFA project. Her dad is a world champion and an international champion. She is a futurity baby as well. I will be more than happy to email more pictures, video, etc.

About Oologah, OK

In 1889, the Kansas and Arkansas Railway (later, the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway and finally, part of the Missouri Pacific Railroad) laid tracks through the area and established a townsite named Oologah, Indian Territory. Oologah was named for Oologah (Dark Cloud), a Cherokee chief. The Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture says that the Oklahoma Federal Writers' Project claimed the name translates from the Cherokee as "red horse fish," while some other sources say that the name means "cloudy weather" or just "clouds."The post office was opened May 25, 1891. Early in the 20th Century, the town flourished because of agriculture, coal mining, and oil and gas production.
