6 year old Registered Quarter Horse, Buckskin color (Stallion was a powerful, bold, big blue roan, and his mare a beautiful, peaceful, intelligent Buckskin mare). He is 15.1 hands high, 1100 pounds, never had an illness or injury, neg coggins up on all shots, hard black feet. Has been trained per Buck Brannamon, Tom & Bill Dorrance, and Brian Neubert's Natural Horsemanship methods, in the Vaquero Tradition. Snaffle bit horse, I often ride him with just my rope halter, to tip his nose for a soft feel. I've had a lifetime of experience with horses, and he's the best I've ever seen in temperament, spirit, and potential skill! He'll go over the tarp or through it if its hanging, over the bridge, through the water, it's all the same to him. He has been "asked politely" and allowed to use the thinking side of his brain to find the proper response to a request. It's taken a lot of time & patience to apply pressure and wait for the correct response for him to find a release. It's all in the timing of the release that trains him. His strong suit is hooking on and working off a feel. Would make a great ranch horse, competitive trail riding, or working horse. He's not a show horse, dressage or jumper, team penning, or spurs. He just needs a job!
