Whiskey is an extremely intelligent, heavy - made buckskin gelding. Standing around 15. 3, he has lots of muscle and is absolutely beautiful. This ranch horse will go anywhere and do anything you want to do. We have used him to chase, sort, and move cattle in the pasture. Slow lopes on a loose reign, has an extremely smooth gait, and will go all day. Super cowy and lots of power. He has been roped off of, and has run barrels. Very fast! 100% Sound! Few big horses reign as well as he does! Beautiful head and big hip. Whiskey is very aggressive and a lot of fun to ride. Not recommended for kids or inexperienced riders. This is the rancher's dream horse. If you want to get noticed and want a quality ranch horse that can do it all, here he is!

About Victoria, KS
A group of British colonists led by a Scotsman named George Grant founded Victoria in 1873 on land he had purchased from the Kansas Pacific Railway. They named the settlement after Queen Victoria. Grant intended for Victoria to be a ranching community and was purportedly responsible for bringing the first Aberdeen Angus cattle to the United States. Most of the colonists, however, were remittance men more interested in sports and dancing than in raising livestock. Their families soon learned of this and reduced the remittances, driving most of the colonists to leave by 1880.
