This beautiful 1988 mare is game, fixy and expressive. She stands 16H; is copper chestnut with three white socks. ''Gigi'' is a square trotting horse with a comfortable gait and graceful canter starts. She began her career as 3- Gaited, and is now Show Pleasure. Always in the ribbons throughout the '04 show season; she placed first in a large Open English class at'04 MN Futurity under the guidance of her AOT. Can be maintained at home, and would be a competitive first show horse for an amateur or experienced junior exhibitor. She is well bred, and should produce a beautiful foal for someone interested in pursuing that option. She loads, hauls, clips, stands for farrier, and has polite stall manners. About Hugo, MN
Originally settled by French Canadians, Hugo early on established itself as a refueling station for the Lake Superior and Mississippi Railroad (later the Northern Pacific Railway). Located in Oneka township, the community was first named Centerville Station and finally Hugo. The present name is for Trevanion William Hugo, a mayor of Duluth. The village incorporated in 1906 and was officially incorporated as a city in 1972. After 2000, Hugo had absorbed significant suburban growth and development to become the thriving city it is today.
