Jax is a 7.5 year old grade gelding. He is very responsive to leg pressure and nose pressure. He will follow you around wherever you want him to go... he loves to please and is very smart... he does anything you can think of he stands still when blanketing (i use a pull over blanket) and for the farrier and baths etc. I would love to see him go to a good home. Jax would be excellent for a beginner or husband horse but can also take an experienced rider far.... () He's a total sweet heart and gentleman. Only reason for selling is due to work and school I don't have the time he deserves and I don't want him to waste in a pasture. He's too good of a horse for that. (price is somewhat negotiable if hes going to a GREAT home)
About Americus, GA
Americus was founded by General John Americus Smith. While out on a scouting mission with his men, he noticed that there was a great deal of distance between two cities. He decided that he would come back and purchase land to build on in 1825. As he built on his land, his plantation grew very large in cotton production. Soon, more and more people started moving to the location until in 1832 the town of Americus was founded.
