Selecta (Capuchino x promesa del Juncal) . Prometido has been named
Top Ten Stallions in the USA for the past 8 consecutive years. Novia's
dam is our mare, Centella del Juncal. Novia has been in training
since summer 2011 and showing beautiful movements, cadence, and front
high action. She is a beautiful dark bay with big black eyes. She is
turning out to be a good Horse Soccer player, like her mother. She was
shown for first time in January 2012 in a Pleasure Mare class and got
3 rd place out of 9 horses. This class included all horse ages and she
was youngest. In April's Open Gaited Show she got 2 nd place in Paso

About Floral City, FL
Floral City was laid out and surveyed in 1883 by the surveyor W.H. Havron and then-Senator Austin S. Mann. The land was owned by James Baker, son-in-law of ex- Confederate soldier John Paul Formy-Duval, an early area settler and landowner. The village was at one time larger than Miami, due to the phosphate mining industry located in Citrus County.
