Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Temple, TX

SMR Docapoo, Shiner, is a 14hh 12 year old, bay gelding. He has been ridden mostly western, but we have recently been jumping, and he can jump about 28" now. He has been used as a lesson horse for intermediate riders, he has been shown in 4-H shows and local shows. He is cutting bred, and does have an interest in cows- I have not personally ridden him into a herd since I have had him. He loads, bathes and stand for the farrier.

About Temple, TX
Temple was founded as a railroad town in 1881 by the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad. It was incorporated in 1882. The town was named after a Santa Fe Railroad official, Bernard Moore Temple. Temple was a civil engineer and former surveyor with the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company. In 1882, the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad built through the town, and soon after, the Santa Fe railroad made Temple a division point.
