Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Auburn, AL

Lots of Pictures and Video on website - http://justaruggedbay.webs.com Age: 13 Height: 15.2 (and 1/2)hh No vices! Suki is an easy keeper and does well living in the pasture or in a stall. Her barn manners are great - she clips, bathes, ties, ground ties, stands for farrier, is great on the lunge line (USPC lunging background), and is very calm around the barn. Suki also knows the Parelli games and has done bridleless riding. Suki has been shown multiple times a year since 2008 and is very comfortable and calm in the show environment. Suki is being offered for sale because she does not have the drive to be an upper level event horse. Though athletic and sound, Suki has maxed out jumping around the beginner novice (2'8"). She would make a wonderful lower level combined training, jumper, or, eventer, hunter partner. Suki has shown First Level at schooling shows and USPC Rallies/ Championships with scores up to 71.77%. She has also been successful in musical freestyle classes with scores over 70% and winning 4th out of 20 horses in the 2013 USPC Championships 1st Level and Above devision. Suki has lovely, smooth gaits! Suki is currently schooling 2nd level dressage movements.

About Auburn, AL

Inhabited in antiquity by the Creek, the land on which Auburn sits was opened to settlement in 1832 with the Treaty of Cusseta. The first settlers arrived in the winter of 1836 from Harris County, Georgia. These settlers, led by Judge John J. Harper, intended to build a town that would be the religious and educational center for the area. Auburn was incorporated on February 2, 1839, in what was then Macon County, covering an area of 2 square miles (5.2 km 2).
