He has a great pedigree featuring his sire, who is a Hall of Famer, THE SKYWATCH, which makes him one of the last grandsons of the famous Prides Generator. In addition, his pedigree also has WGC sires Ebony’s True Grit, Ebony Masterpiece, and Ebony’s Senator. Grit has been trail-ridden lots of miles in multiple states. Grit has been ridden in the gallery at field trials. He has been shown at local fun shows. The bright lights, loudspeakers, and crowds of people do not bother him. He will cross creeks, ditches, and logs on the trails and navigate rough, rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth gait and is a glide ride! He is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew and head out alone with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey or other animals, like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed.

About Jamestown, KY

The community was established in 1826 to be the seat of the newly formed Russell County. It was briefly known as Jacksonville in honor of General Andrew Jackson, who had just won a plurality of the popular vote during the 1824 presidential election but lost the runoff in the House of Representatives, largely because of the " corrupt bargain" struck by Henry Clay and John Quincy Adams. However, an anti-Jacksonian party loyal to Clay came into power the same year and the post office was established in November as Jamestown after local landowner James Wooldridge, who (together with his brother John) had donated 110 acres of land for the town. The act of the state legislature incorporating the city in December continued this name, which the city has used since. As of the census of 2000, there were 1,624 people, 662 households, and 421 families residing in the city.
