Gypsy Vanner Gelding for Sale in Boyd, TX

Chili – Is a Stunning Gypsy Cross Gelding- an 11-year-old Dream to Ride that is extremely well-trained! Chili stands 15 hands and is stout with great confirmation too! He has the fancy buttons, works off leg pressure, knows lead changes, stays in the bridle, is very soft and supple, and has the best mind! HE stays broke, no match how much time he sits idle. He stays gentle. He is a barn favorite; you can put anyone on him who knows the basics or is learning, and he will ride for them. He has many years of experience as a Trail horse. He has been camping and trail riding from the National parks to the hill country. He loves new adventures! For this video, We put him to the test! On St. Patrick’s Day at the Fort Worth Stockyards where 200K people were expected to attend the celebration! As you watch the video, He is crowd safe! Bombproof! Does not spook at large crowds with lots of activity! I rode him next to the carriage and stagecoaches in the middle of the road with traffic next to us! Again, no spook! Chili is trained in the Clint Anderson methods. As you watch the video, he is willing to go into the Brazos river and ride on the streets at the Stockyards with balloons, tarps, people, and loud noises! He is safe to ride anywhere. He has been exposed to dogs barking at him, 4-wheelers, buses, tarps, gunshots, fireworks, traffic, and crowds! He rides in the river and creeks and up steep hills too. Chili is a hard-to-find horse that you can trust with your whole family. He is the husband’s horse to ride on the weekends or every day of the week. He loads safely in the trailer and hauls great. He provides you with a lot of fun with no issues! This video was his first time at the Stockyards with us. As you can see, he has a calm demeanor and is easygoing. As shown in the video, he loves meeting people, and anyone can walk up to him and pet him. Chili has had a lot of Top-Notch Training using the Client Anderson course methods. He side passes and rides off leg pressure and has one-hand neck reins. He has excellent ground manners, too, and self-loads in a horse trailer. He sells sound and current on his deworming and is up to date on vaccines, Coggins, and farrier. Chili is great for kids, teenagers, and grandparents that know the basics. He is a one-of-a-kind horse that you can take to parades to trail riding in the backcountry and has many wonderful experiences. We are confident you will love him!

About Boyd, TX

Originally named Greasy Bend in reference to the local hog fattening industry, the settlement was established in the early 1890s by farmers. The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad reached the town in 1893 and the settlement was subsequently renamed Parkhurst in reference to one of the railroad's officials. Not long afterwards, the town renamed again to Boyd (another railroad official) to avoid possible confusion with the nearby Park Springs.
