More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. **Whiskey**is THE all-around gelding! From working on the ranch, moving cattle, roping or dragging, caring for little kids, and babysitting, this horse hasn’t missed a beat! This horse has the color, size, mind, and heart to do anything you ask! He trail rides out alone or with a group, is not herd or barn sour, is about as bombproof as they come (as the video shows), and hasn’t seen anything that bothers this guy yet! We’re ridden next to trains, bikes, vehicles, and dogs, carrying a flag and dragging tarps. You name it; Nothing can phase him. He is also a fantastic mountain horse and will lead the way and make a path through any terrain! He has had tons of miles in town and the mountains. Aside from trail riding and ranch work, we started Whiskey English and jumping! He has caught on super quickly and seems to enjoy it! With some consistency, he would make an awesome hunter jumper or cross-country gelding. With Whiskey’s fun and goofy treat-motivated personality, we also have started teaching him tricks, and he is picking up on them quickly and has enjoyed anything we’ve thrown at him so far! He’s extremely smart, so teaching this horse anything is a piece of cake! Whiskey is 12 years old, stands at 16.1, and has the best personality. Picks his feet, tacks, loads, ties, stands, and bathes, and is great for the vet and farrier!

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
