Goose is a 16HH hand, 10-year-old Percheron Cross gelding that is very stocky built and as pretty as they come! Look no further if you have been looking for that perfect draft cross gelding. Goose is the one for you. Horses like Goose are very rare and hard to find. I’ve never owned one like him in my life. Goose is fancy, broke, safe, quiet, and gentle. He is the definition of a Gentle Giant. He is a finished trail horse and has done ranch work, checking fences, gathering cattle, and catching cattle, and he knows how to handle a rope and pull like a d-9 dozer. No bulls have been able to out-pull him. NOTHING phases this guy. He is seasoned on organized and local trail rides. He has been to big parades. He has ridden in the mountains. He will ride in a group or alone. He will pony colts and mares all day long. He has an easy stop. You put your feet forward or slightly lean forward, and he will stop immediately. Has a great backup. Will carry a flag. He is SAFE for advanced beginners and up because he is handy broke and can be ridden with leg pressure. He is sure-footed on the trail and HONEST. Walks through ditches, logs, water, etc., a point-and-go ride. My favorite thing about him is how gentle and safe he is. My three-year-old son loves to ride him!! Don’t worry about having difficulty mounting him because he will side-pass over to the mounting block for you to mount him with the snap of your fingers. Goose would make a great trail competition horse and has been used on an obstacle course. We have ridden him many miles and has seen it all. He is suitable for all types of riders that know the general basics of riding or anyone that wants a fun, safe, relaxing, stress-free horse to ride. He is good for the farrier and easy to bathe and load in a trailer. He is well-trained with a nice one-hand neck rein or direct rein; It doesn’t matter, it’s what’s comfortable for you, side pass, backs, has a nice turnaround, nice trot, and will short lope from a standstill. He honestly feels like you’re riding a small horse with the handle and moves that he has. You can also shoot a gun as well as crack a whip. Goose is as close to bombproof as he can be. Take Goose home and put him to work in any direction. The sky is the limit with him. Your favorite thing about him will be how quiet and safe he is!! Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to own such a unique and hard-to-find Percheron Cross. PPE is welcome at the buyer’s expense Call or Text Adam anytime. Located in Hodgenville, KY. About Hodgenville, KY

Robert Hodgen, a Pennsylvania native who moved to Virginia, purchased 10,000 acres of land in the vicinity. In 1789, after the American Revolutionary War, when settlers started moving west into Kentucky, he built a mill at the site. After his death, the community that developed around it was called Hodgenville upon the petition of his widow and children. The United States post office at the site, however, was known as Hodgensville from 1826 to 1904. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly on February 18, 1836.
