Here is a chance to own a beautiful draft cross mare. Prada is a pretty 11-year-old strawberry roan draft cross mare and stands at a stocky 15.2 hands. Prada is a very friendly horse and bonds easily. She is looking for her own person to love on her. Once she knows her owner, she will whinny, come up to you in the field and make you feel very special. Prada is well-behaved on the ground and stands patiently to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. – she loves attention. Prada is a pleasure to ride, especially out on the trails, but she will also ride in the ring. She rides the same whether you ride her daily or once a week. She is a fun horse to ride and be around. Prada is extremely well-behaved and respectful. Prada is used to being around lots of different animals, and she has been ridden Western, English, bareback, in a halter, and bridle-less and has been on a lot of long trail rides up and down hills, through fields with cattle, up and down ravines and through water and deep woods. She will go wherever you point her without hesitation. We have yet to find something she is afraid of. She rides out alone or with others. Prada excels at trail riding and loves to venture out on the ranch with her human. She also loves water. She is a nice, light ride with a comfortable gait and a nice forward walk. She goes in a western bit, or you can ride her in just a halter. Prada is so respectful she will back up in a halter. She is the type of horse that makes you feel safe on her back, and you won’t want to get off. She knows her job, and you can sit back and go for a ride or even hang out, lay on her back, and cuddle bareback without any halter or bridle. Prada has a nice canter for a draft cross and goes into it willingly; you won’t have to ask her twice for anything. She is willing to do anything she asks and moves off your leg lightly. Prada has been exposed to everything you could imagine, including dogs, cars, tractors, ATVs, chainsaws, welding, tarps, balls, umbrellas, cattle, poles, tire obstacles, etc. – nothing bothers her. Prada easily loads and unloads in the trailer and will stand tied all day. She rides off the property the same as at home.
