Midnight is a 10-year-old black pony cross gelding. He stands 52 inches tall. He is sure-footed and shoer friendly and requires no maintenance. Midnight has been roped off of in little britches rodeos and local jackpots by youth. Midnight is very broke and gentle with an easy one-hand neck rein and has an awesome stop. I’ve roped lots of yearling off of him in the pasture to doctoring. He will cross any obstacles you put in front of him with no problems. Midnight is finished on the heel side and breakaway for youth to compete on. He can take a jerk and is strong to the horn on the end of a rope for pulling. He doesn’t get rattled by noisy crowds. He has been in parades carrying rodeo flags. He’s an awesome little ranch horse with lots of heart. I’ve practiced cowboy-mounted shooting with him for the last several months using 45-caliber pistols. He will stay where he is supposed to be to give you that perfect shot, and he will still be sane when you’re done. Midnight is safe enough for the deacons of the church to the waitress of the Waffle House if you’re looking for a stout-made pony with lots of heart to learn on, play on, or just one to enjoy riding!
