Gizmo is a 9 year old Kentucky Mountain gelding standing at 15’1hh. Gizmo is my grandfather in-laws horse that he has been ridden solely by him for the past 6 1/2 years. We have known this nice horse since he was a yearling, as he came from a local horse farm here close to home. If you can think of it, gizmo has probably experienced it. You can run chainsaws off his back to clear out trails, use a machete to chop limbs out of your way and drag trees out of your path. He will climb up the steepest slopes and embankments with ease, cross creeks, rivers and deep ditches. Gizmo has been used to check cattle and fences his whole life, has been exposed to all sorts of wildlife and is bothered by none. On top of his great mind, Gizmo has a super nice running walk gear, as well as a nice 4 beat gait where he will keep up with most. He will walk on a loose rein all day, or step up and ride, but also settle right back into a walk. He has been ridden in a bosal, o-ring snaffle, and a dog bone. Gizmo is easy in the mouth, and willing to please. As handy as the shirt on your pocket when it comes to neck-reigning and is an absolute blast to enjoy and ride. Gizmo will ground tie, park out, stand exceptionally well for the farrier, as well as to be tacked and bathed.
