Gypsy Vanner Mare for Sale in Everett, PA

ONLINE AUCTION Place your bid at PlatinumEquineAuction dot com Auction starts October 2nd and ends October 16th $3500 Starting bid EmmyLou is a 5 year old Gypsy Sport Horse (Gypsy Vanner X Quarter Horse) mare standing 14.2 hands tall and wide. This beautifully built mare is truly the best of both worlds, the beauty and feathers with the heavy made bone/hooves of a Gypsy put on a perfectly built Quarter Horse with the color and ability to boot! Emmy is an absolute knockout of a looker and she’s just as awesome under saddle! She is bump and blemish free as well as 100% sound in every way,. EmmyLou stands quietly tied single or on cross ties, great to groom and bathe, clips, good for the vet and farrier, excellent to load and quiet while hauling. Under saddle Emmy rides the same no matter if you are in the arena or the trails or out at an equine obstacle park, she is safe and fun and really has a nice handle on her. She’s light and soft in her chin and has a cool sit down stop, backs up off light pressure, moves her ribs and shoulders and travels collected and easily off leg. EmmyLou has a nice jog and lope and will willingly catch both leads, she is very nicely broke and rides really handy and might just kiss and she steps right off into a rocking chair lope and if you take your legs off and just say whoa she step and will back up soft and collected with ease. She is kind and gentle enough that I have been using her for my lesson program and has packed beginners and up without issues. EmmyLou rides both English and western and will trot ground poles or take a jump. She is a fantastic trail boss and will go over or through anything you point her at, she will haul you up and down steep grades, through water and mud, over rocks, bridges and onto the hard road in traffic without batting an eye. She doesn’t mind vehicles, equipment, dogs or other horses around her and will gladly take the lead or bring up the rear, she goes out and about alone with no drama as well. EmmyLou absolutely enjoyed herself to the fullest at the obstacle park and was literally a breeze to take through all the obstacles we encountered, rolling platforms, moving bridges, deep ponds, stair cases, jingle bells, cowboy curtain and so much more were like butter for this great minded girl! EmmyLou is the type of horse that’s a jack of all trades and she’s so well broke and willing that she will try her heart out for you, so whether you want a weekend trail horse or a show horse she has the aptitude and ability to be that for you. This mare requires zero prep or lunging even when being hauled and ridden in a new place, she’s all business saddle up and ride out!!!EmmyLou is an easy keeper, lives in a stall or turned out, good in a mixed herd and easy to catch. She sells sound without vices or limitations. Call Benny with any questions 814-979-2046. Located in Everett, PA. About Everett, PA

Over 200 years ago, the sun pierced through the thick forest on a small Indian village and trading post known as Bloody Run, which was located on a wagon road headed to Fort Dusquesne in south central Pennsylvania. [ citation needed ] In 1787, Michael Barndollar purchased the land in this area, and laid out a town which was originally called Waynesburg. This name was never widely used and this small village was incorporated as a borough in November 1860, to be known as Bloody Run. While this name carries with it many interesting stories and much history, the name was changed in February 1873 to Everett. The Everett Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
