He stands 14.2 hands. Tyson as he is affectionately known around the barn is by Pepto Solano, by Royal Boonsmal by the great $26+ million sire Peptoboonsmal. Pepto Solano is out of High Brow Solano by the one and only High Brow Hickory (LTE $222,959). Tyson is a very fun and talented young gelding. He had a phenomenal start as a 2 and 3 year old getting real life experience on the ranch. Tyson has spent many days working in the fields checking cattle and fences. He has gathered and help to sort cow/calf pairs. He is confident out in the open going across the various terrain. He does well riding with others or out working alone. As a four year old, Tyson began more formal arena training. He spent time with a reined cowhorse trainer getting a solid reining foundation and starting on the flag as well as live cattle in the arena. Tyson rides soft in the bridle and listens well to the seat and leg. He has a nice stop and stylish turnaround. He has very consistent gaits that are sure to get him noticed in the ranch shows, western dressage, or working equitation. He has nice definition in slow and fast circles for reining patterns. His transitions are smooth and he does great patterns for classes such as ranch riding and ranchmanship. He loves cattle and is sure to finish out to be a great all around horse at Ranch Shows. He hauls well and handles himself comfortably in new environments. Tyson has a great personality. He is very trainable and very smart with a great brain. He loves people and aims to please his rider and trainer. He has great ground manners. Stands for tacking, grooming, bathing, and for the farrier.
