Appaloosa Mare for Sale in Cynthiana, KY

ONLINE AUCTION Place your bid at PlatinumEquineAuction dot com Auction ends October 2nd $3500 Starting bid Kitty is a 10 year old POA mare. She’s 14.2 and is registered with the Pony of Americas Club Inc. In the past she’s been western pleasure trained. Kitty is trained to work both indoors and outdoors, but prefers inside. She is tricked trained with a lay down, which is done with a tap cue, she sits up, and sits down on beanbags/hay. She does basic circle and work and works with/around obstacles such as tarps, huge balls, and constant noise. When presented with an obstacle, she is more than willing to work through it and has worked through every problem I’ve ever came in contact with her. She gives you all of her effort when asked and works to please. Her ability to work off of the riders body instead of just their hands is impressive and can take care of kids just as well as adults. Kitty is one of a kind and a family would be lucky to have her! Located in Cynthiana, KY. Call Madison 859-240-8940 with any questions. About Cynthiana, KY

Cynthiana was named after Cynthia and Anna Harrison, daughters of Robert Harrison, who had donated land for its establishment, though Harrison County was named after Colonel Benjamin Harrison, who was an early settler in the area and the sheriff of Bourbon County. Two Civil War battles were fought in Cynthiana; the first on July 17, 1862, was part of a raid into Kentucky by Confederate General John Hunt Morgan; the second on June 11 and 12, 1864, resulted in defeat of Confederate forces on Morgan's last raid into the state. On January 23, 1877, an LL chondrite meteorite fell in Cynthiana. March 2, 1997, the South Fork of the Licking River which bisects Cynthiana flooded, causing extensive damage in Cynthiana and neighboring communities.
