Gypsy Vanner Mare for Sale in High Springs, FL

Gypsy Vanner x Saddlebred cross mare. Excellent, sound, calm, and athletic trail horse, and she is great with kids. Puppy dog personality. Barefoot with great feet and easy keeper, no health issues. Trailers, bathes, etc. Loves small jumps. She is currently working in a lesson program with kids. She has beautiful gaits with extension from her saddlebred blood (which gives her great dressage potential) and she is good with her leads. She is pretty well balanced, she won’t run away with you but will move out when asked. Very flashy, colorful bay with light dapples and plenty of feathering. 75% Gypsy Vanner, 25% Saddlebred. Registered with GHA and waiting for GVHS paperwork to return, DNA verified. Stunning mare making excellent saddle progress with great athletic potential, and papers to boot. Priced accordingly, forever homes only.

About High Springs, FL

The present-day area of High Springs was first settled on a permanent basis by English-speaking people during the late 1830s. One of the earliest settlements in the vicinity was at Crockett Springs, located about three miles east of present-day High Springs. Settlers who were living there during the 1840s included Fernando Underwood and Marshal Blanton. A discernible town began to develop in the early 1880s after the Savannah, Florida & Western Railway was constructed and several phosphate mines were established. In 1888 the local post office changed its name from Orion to High Springs, and the town was officially incorporated in 1892.
