Rides English, Western, Ranch Work, Trail Riding, Driving, Mounted Shooting, Tricks. Perfect age at 9yrs old. 14.1 Hands tall. We just can’t say enough good about Pickles. He loves people and attention, always is happy to see you. You can give him as much time off as you want and he will ride off with no nonsense. He has seen many miles on the ranch, done the ranch work and been up and down the mountain. Out on the trail he is confident, sure footed and a point and go ride. In rough and rocky terrain he picks up his feet and pays attention to where he is going. He is happy to ride in any position in a group or rides off alone and never gives you any hassle. Pickles has seen all the wildlife from big horn sheep, bears, deer, antelope along with the domestic llamas, peacocks, pigs and he isn’t bothered by any of it. He has been ridden by many kids and is super kind and patient. We have had all ages and levels of rides on him and they all love riding Pickles. Pickles has a true one handed neck rein, rides well off of your seat and legs and he is very smooth. He has a nice floating trot and rocking chair lope that is just easy to sit. He side passes, always picks up the correct lead and does it all on a nice loose rein. If you don’t want to ride him he is fun to drive too! Traffic safe down the country road or on the busy streets of town. Pickles stands excellent for the farrier and vet. He is great for a bath and the clippers. He has the best ground manors. He loads in and backs out of the trailer and hauls well. He is happy in a box stall or out in a group of horses. He gets along with all the other horses, including mares, geldings and studs. He has no vices or bad habits. We have done it all with Pickles he’s been there seen it, done it, experienced it, and will never get nervous or worried about anything. He is just easy to ride and so much fun. Pickles stays quiet all day, any day, anywhere, is safe for the entire family from kids to adults, advanced or beginners, he will take care of you. Pickles is great inside and outside, he rides away from the barn and away from other horses without looking back. He is as quiet and easy going as we have had one yet. He stands tied all day with no fuss. He is broke enough for an advanced rider to have fun on and quiet and forgiving enough for a beginner rider. Pickles is up to date on everything and 100% sound and has never had any health issues. He has good solid feet and very good bone and conformation to stay sound forever.
