The Natural Horsemanship
2-day Clinic
with Anna Twinney
The universal communication between horses and humans, known as horse whispering, involves the use of body language, intuition and an understanding of the laws of energy. It also requires an in-depth understanding of the horse’s temperament and character and a balance of patience, kindness, affection and respect.
Watch, participate & learn how to communicate with your horse!
Through demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on exercises, tailored to your needs, you will experience how all contact with your horse, intentions, body language and much more, form a communication system between the two of you. You will learn how to recognize and interpret the language so that you can build upon your knowledge and resolve your challenges at home. Understanding the way the horse perceives the world and how it learns will enable you to work with your horse’s mind and gain a trust-based partnership instead of just a one way communi

Hi to all you gaited folks out there! I know many of you ride these gaited horses on the trail, but showing can be fun too! It really helps you to see gaps in your training...plus it's fun to get gussied up a bit too!
It’s been quite difficult to start up any large shows for specific breeds of gaited horses in Colorado. There just aren’t enough of us to put on a really good show! The TWH Association of Colorado has been including classes for mountain horses (via UMH classes) and all other breeds (via OGB classes) at their annual celebration. They had to cancel their 2008 show, but are planning on having a huge show in 2009 (tentatively planned for July 30-Aug. 2, 2009). They have scheduled the use of the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado. This is a fabulous indoor facility, with all the perks! This is the place where the Denver “Rocky Mountain Horse Expo” is held in March every year.
Since I am the United Mountain Horse representative for the SW Region, I’ve

Understanding the way the horse perceives the world and how it learns will enable you to work with your horse’s mind and gain a trust-based partnership instead of just a one way commu

Just Three Days Away from Uncovering your Destiny
What if you knew you were only three days away from creating a fulfilling, abundant life? What if you were only 3 days from knowing what truly brings joy into your life? What If you were only 3 days from uncovering your life’s purpose?
These days there is a lot of talk about manifesting desires, about making your dreams come true and living a life of abundance and success. With the recent popularity of “The Secret” and other life changing books and movies, people once again are being introduced to a very simple idea:
You have the power to create the life of your dreams.
Plenty of wonderful programs exist to teach you the “How's” of changing your life. Every famous speaker, teacher and development organization has their unique brand, technique and style of helping you “reprogram” your mind for abundance and success. Unfortunately though this is where many of those programs stop.
So, like children we bring more an

Empower yourself to facilitate healing in others, your animal companions & yourself with the Japanese Art of Reiki. One of Reiki's most effective uses is in the healing of horses. Horses, and animals in general, are great clients for energy work because they don't have any preconceived notions or skepticism that often get in the way of human receptivity. An animal is simply present to the experience.
Watch, participate, learn & become comfortable with “Healing Horses”
We have found that most horses love Reiki. They will quite often relax into the healing session, lower their heads, keeping a leg cocked in a relaxed position and even close their eyes as they enjoy the sensation. Many times you can hear their stomachs gurgle as the healing energy flows through them, clearing energy blocks as it goes. And when they have had enough, they will often let you know by "waking up" and sometimes even walking away.
During the workshop you will learn how to:
• Ask "permission"
