Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Millstadt, IL

Dixie is an Arabian Quarter horse cross. She is approximately 20 years old. She is currently a pasture horse and has never really been stalled. Dixie is very gentle, child proof and loves to be with humans. If you call her name out in the pasture, she will walk to you. She would be perfect for a young rider/beginner. She's an easy keeper. She has been used in a few lessons, trail riding and ridden in a parade. She neck reins well and picks up her feet wonderfully. When I first got her, she was in a hackamore, but I switched her to a bit and does great. The only problems that I can think of about her is that she dances around a little bit when you begin to spray her off or spray her with fly spray. Loading her can be a bit difficult, but she can be convinced too. I'm only selling her because I am in need of a younger, untrained horse. She has had her shots and negative coggins. She will only go to a good, approved home. If you are interested in her, we will set up a time for you two to meet!
