Shetland Pony Stallion for Sale in Laconia, IN

Vinnie is an unregistered American Shetland Pony yearling (1year and 5 months) who needs his new home. I cannot give him what he deserves anymore and he just deserves someone who will further him in whatever path chosen for him. He is brave and considering he is a stallion and still young, he is well-behaved. He is a Silver Bay with NO other white markings on him. During the winter he looks like a red w/flaxen mane and tail. Not registered, and I don't know if he can be. Both his parents are Silver Bays (Sire: 46 Inches; Dam: 36 Inches). Please inquire for photos/videos of him. Priced at 350 OBO (Or Best Offer) or trades- Make an offer. (This picture is from over the summer to show how his mane/tail generally looks, it had to get cut off due to being entangled in weeds past repair.)

About Laconia, IN

Laconia is a small farming community and was platted in 1816 by John Boone. The Boone family, prominent in the settlement of southern Harrison County, owned large tracts of land throughout the township which bears their name. The original town, consisting of 64 lots, was laid out on property of four owners: William Smith, William Winigar, William Williams, and William Madden, Sr. Because Laconia was the only town of any size in Boone Township, the settlement became the commercial center of the area. Laconia was the distribution center for mail and was served by the L&N Railroad, which ran on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River.
