"Mr X" is bred wonderfully, with a great combination of halter horses and race horses. He is HYPP N/N. He is VERY easy to handle. He will pasture or hand breed, loads, bathes, ties, stands for saddling, grooming, fly spray, hooves, shots, etc. Utd on shots, coggins, and worming. He also had his teeth check 2 months ago and vet said they looked great. Mr X can be turned out with other horses (geldings included) with no problem. He is just an all around great stallion. When I got him, my intention was to stud him out as well as breed him to one of my mares, however with me getting back into competing, I just do not have the time to market and promote him like I thought I would. I do not have enough mares to justify keeping him just for my mares. I feel the public deserves to have this great stallion open to outside mares! This stallion should be producing more than a few foals a year, which unfortunately is all he will do if he stays with me. If I keep him, it would not be fair to him, his offspring, or the public. "Mr X" is broke to ride, and rides well, however due to old injuries, I do not ride him. (My vet says he is sound for light riding/trail riding, but I personally consider him, and I am selling him as a breeding stallion.) His old injury happened when he was a 3-4y/o (I can provide details if interested). His injury is simply cosmetic and does not effect him. I would like to retain 2 breedings to him after he is sold, so new owner must be willing to sign bill of sale which states this. Previous owner was standing him at $1250 stud fee ++ mare care per day,and his foals sell very well. Someone is going to get a very good deal and will easily at least double profit on him no matter if you stud him out or breed to inside mares only!
