Awesome mountain trail horse. Steps out very nicely on the trail. He has a ground covering walk. He has a very nice handle on him, and knows leg pressure. Dunovan has also packed with a Decker pack saddle. You can pack just about anything you want to pack on him. He has a very nice disposition, he is easy to catch, he is a willing horse and will do whatever is asked of him. Crosses water with ease, goes over downfall and bridges. He is easy to shoe and just had 4 new shoes put on, August 1st. He loads very nicely and easily into the trailer. Dunovan works very nicely in the arena and round pen. He is very well broke to ropes swung all around him, tarps, plastic bags and he is very focused on you, working very nicely off lead. He knows bending/flexing/yield the shoulders/hindquarters. Would make a nice show horse, he is a very good looking horse with good conformation. I am 65 years of age and I enjoy riding this horse out on the trail. My Grandkids also ride him.
