Quarab Gelding for Sale in Greenwood, IN
Zeke is a sweet boy I think he is a Quarab and about 12 years old. I have ridden him, western, twice and have taken him to the county fair. He will need an experienced rider as he has not been worked in a few years. Hes gorgeous hes had his mane cut due to tangles that wouldnt come out, it grows fast though. He doesnt have any papers as he was abandoned by his previous owners. He is a pasture horse and is with two other geldings and a mare hes the leader of the geldings but not the mare.
About Greenwood, IN
The first inhabitants of the area currently known as Greenwood were the Delaware Indians (Lenape). In 1818, the Treaty of St. Mary's opened central Indiana to European American settlement, and by 1823 the first cabin in northern Johnson County was erected by settlers John B. and Isaac Smock on land now occupied by Greenwood Park Mall. Greenwood was first known as "Smocktown" or "Smock's Settlement" in honor of the Smock brothers, and became "Greenfield" in 1825.
