Layla is a three-year-old quarter horse palomino filly. She is up to date on vet, farrier and de-worming. She is green-broke, stands to be haltered and tacked, and has very good ground manners. She doesn't spook easily and is very good with other animals. (cats, dogs, other horses, goats, etc.) she is calm, trailers well, knows how to take a bit and a saddle. She is a great project horse and can go in either an English or western direction. She also is learning how to take a rider. I've been on her back quite a few times, she will stand to be mounted, and has a beautiful walk, trot and canter. Although she needs a bit of work on the commands. She has had some lunging practice and is very quick to learn anything. I taught her to cross strange surfaces as well and have been working her through her uneasiness around water. She will walk through ponds and stand in water and cross streams now. I'm asking $1200 for her, but it is negotiable as I also have various tack items for sale. She has never bucked, bitten or jumped around me or anyone else. She's outside pretty much 24/7 but she could get used to a stall.
