Tennessee Walking Mare for Sale in Cookeville, TN
I have recently purchased this Bay mare / filly with white star and
strip on her face. The mare is from a couple who's moving. They haven't
ridden her since last year. She'll make someone a fine horse. I consider
her green broke with a good temperament. Comes to you in the field.
Gets along with other animals (goats - chickens - dogs) . She appears
sound in every way. Previous owner says her gaits are smooth. Hits 4
or 5 different gaits in the pasture. I also have a an 18 inch English

About Cookeville, TN
Cookeville is named for Richard Fielding Cooke, who came to Tennessee in 1810 and settled nearby. Cooke was twice elected to the state senate, and was influential in establishing Putnam County. Cookeville was chosen as the county seat because it had a spring which provided water to the community. In 1856, Cookeville's first courthouse was erected. It burned a few years later and was rebuilt.
